The Winged Exile
Mapping the exact second an angel breaks, where sharp geometric folds meet the chaos of a crimson stain.
This look is easily the most personal part of my entire collection. I became totally obsessed with the idea of a purity that is literally cracking apart. The wings were a complete marathon of origami. I chose a sharp, clinical paper to build that structured divinity because I love how fragile and temporary it feels.
The real drama happens with the "bleed." I used those deep red stains to physically mark the wings, turning a symbol of grace into something heavy and grounded. Adding the hanging red elements felt like adding weight to a silhouette that should be weightless. To finish the story, I used a soft halo of fairy lights to create a fading celestial glow. It captures that tragic, beautiful moment where a being is caught between the clouds and the earth. I really wanted the viewer to feel the actual weight of the fall.
